Update: AR*171268 – Just a little bit closer.

Holidays festivities are almost passed and new wire harness orders including Giulietta, Ferrari 250 GT, 330 GTC, as well as a couple of Porsche 356 are starting to roll out the door to their new homes across the country and around the world. Lastly, work on our Giulietta is beginning to take new form every passing day.

With all work done to date, in addition to recently completed interior floors, new trunk rear right quarter panel, as well as inner structural sills.  Giulietta 171268 is about to be out of intensive care after 340 hrs to date of major cosmetic surgery.  My goal is to provide Giulietta owners a realistic and meaningful perspective of what really goes into the restoration process in a systematic approach where all the work is easily viewed and understood.

I can’t tell you how many inquires I get about this type of restoration work were people become floored and bewildered when I tell them what I believe it will take to get their cars done.  So, I hope these postings can be of assistance in understanding and determining the scope of work required in addition to be a valuable tool.

One caveat, I hope readers keep a realistic perspective of all environmental factors as well as many variables effecting such work from restorer to restorer.
